Random thoughts for a Thursday

I love the way life sometimes just SMACKS you in the face and says "Hey! Why are you taking me for granted?"

I know it's God in disguise. He is in disguise as pins on pinterest.com or birds whistling merrily outside my bedroom window, or cheerful friends or fragrant flowers. I know He wants what is best for me and that is a full and happy life. So, I was smacked this morning by some signs. I felt like sharing. Why can't I remember what I am ultimately striving for in this paltry life on earth? How come my purpose doesn't stay at the forefront of my brain? Could you imagine if it did? Be like Christ. In everything you do and say. In every action, every thought, every thing. That's all we are called to do. How hard is that? It shouldn't be that tough.
