Ever heard of a Wacky Jack?

Oh. My. Lord. I'm in pain! ha. week #1 workout #2 is done for Couch to 5k and at the same time I am working on a starter guide to exercise and today's exercise was 40 jumping jacks. Yesterday, while spending quality time with my sister she taught me this move called a wacky jack. It's a kind of modified jumping jack that works your sides and really helps if you are top heavy like moi. What you do is, while standing, put your hands behind your head like you would if you were about to do a sit-up, then while bringing the left leg off the ground to the side in a sort of dance like staccato (think, "singin' in the rain" style), bend from your side towards the kicked out leg, bring the leg back down to the ground and immediately kick out with your other leg to the side and bend towards that leg. I'm not sure if each side is counted as 1 or a 1/2. That's TBD. Either way, fun silly sore way to work your sides. My quote for the week to keep me motivated is "Dieting helps you look good in clothes, Exercise helps you look good NAKED."
